Cancellation

Terms and Conditions of Business of Hampstead Helpers, We govern all Transactions between The Hampstead Helpers and you. The client in respect of service supplied by Hempstead Helpers to you as specified in this agreement.
We enter into this agreement with you with the intention that all the terms of the agreement between us are included in these terms and conditions.

Due to client has to give Hampstead Helpers (24 to 48 hours) notice, other wise, clients would be charge £15.00 per each cleaning season.

Regular domestic cleaning, office cleaning:
Customer may cancel a cleaning visit/s by giving at least 24 hours advanced notice.

Customer may terminate the whole service by giving one month (30 days) advanced notice in writing and specifying the last cleaning date.

Customer agrees to pay the full price of the cleaning visit if the customer cancels or changes the date/time less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.

Customer agrees to pay the full price of the cleaning visit in the event of a lockout caused by our cleaners being turned away; no one home to let them in; or problem with customer’s key.

If keys are provided they must open the lock without any special efforts or skills.

Customer agrees to pay the full price of one cleaning visit in case of a termination of the service if the customer has given less than one week advanced notice.

Customer has the right to terminate the service without giving one week advanced notice but by giving 24 hours advanced notice before or immediately after the first cleaning visit only.

Customer agrees to provide a list of tasks and all cleaning materials and equipment needed for the required work, unless other arrangements have been made with Hampstead helpers.

The company does not take any responsibility for any loss, expenses or damage caused by any act or omission of the introduced cleaner.

The client must make a statement concerning the damage, how it was caused and the value. The client must also provide receipts or quotes in respect of such damage;

The Cleaner must issue a statement as above and admitting that the damage was caused by their own fault or negligence;

A claim form will then be completed by the Agency, following which the Client must liaise with the insurance broker appointed to handle the claim;

The client will be responsible for the applicable excess on the policy, currently £100;

The client will not refer any Cleaner introduced by the Agency to any other person except through the Agency.  

Services

Whatever your cleaning requirements may be, we will be happy to help. All your domestic needs are catered for; from dusting and vacuuming to changing beds and washing up!

We even offer an ironing service at NO extra cost and same day/short notice and one-off cleaning can be arranged with just a phone call to office.

New clients will be visited in their home, at their own convenience, where we will be happy to offer advice and discuss individual needs. Once we have established customized cleaning for our clients, we can start making their lives just a little bit easier!

When you use “Hampstead Helpers” your belonging are covered by our comprehensive insurance policy. We will be happy to discuss this with you further if needed.

 

Payment

The client shall provide cheque or cash each time Helpers (Cleaners) come to their home!
Or can arrange direct Debit through our office.

Are your cleaners insured?

Yes, all of our cleaners are covered by our comprehensive public liability cover. Our insurance policy will cover any accidental damages to your property caused by any of our cleaners up to 1 million pounds.

Our cleaners are insured for theft and key loss.

There is a £100.00 excess on all claims.

Hampstead Helpers service is insured by full public and employer’s liability cover. The cleaners have full public liability insurance.

The customer agrees that after the termination of the cleaning service he/she will not hire or use any domestic services provided by a past cleaner introduced to the customer by Hempstead Helpers.

If the customer does wish to hire or use domestic services provided by such a cleaner than he/she must pay a referral fee of £1.000.

The client will supply all the necessary cleaning and ironing materials which must include a working vacuum cleaner and a fully operational steam iron and ironing board, if ironing is required.

The client will give all instructions as to hours to be worked and duties to be performed direct to the Cleaner and shall be responsible for employing-and terminating the employment of the Cleaner.

The client must provide a set of instructions for the Cleaner and must only require him or her to do interior domestic cleaning or ironing.

The insurance policy will only cover loss or damage to property if and to the extent that the loss or damage is of a value in excess of £100 neither the Agency nor its insurances will accept liability for any claims under £100 which are hereby excluded. Where any claim is of a value in excess of £100 the client shall be liable to pay the first £100 of any such claim.

The insurance policy does not cover theft of property or possessions or loss or damage caused by bleach or any substances containing bleach.
